現代ファンタジー Contemporary fantasy
現代世界を舞台にして不可思議なものが異世界などから登場する話のうち、主人公の反応が恐怖よりも喜びや感歎を主眼とするもの。(恐怖となるとホラーとなる)
日本のマンガやライトノベルには多くの現代ファンタジーものが存在する。
contemporary urban fantasy, modern-day fantasy, indigenous fantasy とも書くらしい。
